On Tuesday April 21st The Right Worshipful Mayor of Hereford Councillor Daniel Powell, the Lady Mayoress and the Mayor’s Officer were honorary guests at a special lunch at Castle House Hotel to celebrate the Guild of Mayor’s Guides 45th anniversary. After an excellent lunch the Mayor thanked the Guild for its 45 years of service to the City. Head Guide Stephen Pugh paid tribute to Dr Joy Roderick for her 25 years of loyal service to the Guild as Guide, Training Officer and latterly her three year term as Head Guide. A small gift of appreciation and a bouquet were presented to her from the Guild. The Mayor awarded Dr Roderick a Mayoral Commendation and a shield of the City Coat of Arms.
