New for 2026 – Discover Our Care Home Service

Reminiscing is a powerful tool that boosts wellbeing and memory recall,
and these sessions allow residents to engage in the supported space of the
care home. With the help of selected images of key locations in the city,
past and present, we engage residents in conversation and encourage them
to recall past favourite experiences of Hereford, growing up or bringing up
a family here. Sharing stories is a way of celebrating lives lived and places
cherished.

Residents not from Hereford also enjoy the sessions finding out about the
city and what it was like for those that lived here, so encouraging a sense of
community.

Sessions last 45 minutes to an hour, depending on requirements. We will
bring the images to be used in A4 printed format, so no special equipment
