The Leominster Heritage Guides are a team of local volunteers established in 2023 to promote Leominster’s rich history and architectural heritage.

Sharing identical goals, purposes, and even mutual volunteers, it made perfect sense for us to arrange collaborative exchange visits during the summer months. When it was our turn to visit Leominster, our knowledgeable hosts, Rob Walker and Jenny Williams, generously led us through the experience. We felt truly fortunate to gain a comprehensive understanding of the minster church’s establishment, its adjoining abbey, the town’s period under Welsh control and the splendid Grange Court.

The tour concluded with a delightful lunch at Grange Court’s grounds, providing the perfect opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about shared interests
